It was my brilliant idea to make cookies for our neighbors, friends, and Church Christmas Party, oh, and Liz’s co-workers too! What a good idea when you are pregnant and have two very active, curious little boys! (HA!) It only took me FIVE days to get them made and packaged. (I must say, I am pretty happy with the results. Even if I am all “sugared” out.)
I decided to make
~Sugar Cookie Cutouts (Better Homes and Gardens recipe doubled )
~Ginger cookies (new recipe found on Allrecipes.com doubled)
~Coconut Macaroons (Ina Garten’s recipe from Foodnetwork.com)
~Chocolate Chip Cookies (my Mom’s Recipe)
Here are some of the pics from the cookie “event” which took most of the week. But thanks to naptime and my sister (who truly is my right hand!), we got it all done.
Here are some pics we snapped with flour and sugar covered hands!
Hope that you enjoy some holiday baking yourself! I am so thankful that my mom took the time to teach us girls how much fun cookie baking can be. (that and how yummy cookie dough is!)

All sugared out is the phrase that comes to mind!!! But oh sooo good!
