What a Wonderful Christmas! - All My Good Things

I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas weekend! Truly, I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful time with my family and friends. (not to mention that I got some pretty Awesome gifts!)

We started the weekend on Friday at my in-Laws. Had a fabulous prime rib dinner and relaxed while the boys played with their new racetracks from Mee-Maw and Papa!

Christmas Eve morning, Jon made a big breakfast for everyone. Liz gave him a waffle maker! (she gave it to him Friday night so she wouldn’t have to get up as early as Jon does to give it to him!)

Troy (one of our teens from church), came over for the day and played video games.

We love having people in our home. And invited anyone to come that wanted on Christmas Eve. We ended up with 16 of us. Jon read the Christmas Story before opening some gifts together.

We decided not to stress about Christmas. And since the boys are still young enough not to know, we told them presents were coming after church and nap time! The tree was empty until they were asleep…

Then all the presents came out!

My “best deal” present was a ball pit tent and tunnel from a mom to mom sale. Still new in box!

It now resides in our basement!

Christmas Eve Morning we woke up to snow. I told Jon that some little kid prayed really hard for that snow. Because we weren’t supposed to have any over Christmas!

(And this picture is really out of order…oh well!)

Love the Christmas present chaos of opening gifts and then the boxes the gifts are in and then the twist ties that are holding the gifts in the box and the tape and trying to figure out batteries… (and you get the picture) =)

Overall, it was a special weekend. Jon and I both remarked how very blessed we have been by our wonderful God! So many family and friends have gone out of their way to be a blessing to us. We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love and generosity! I pray that you will receive ten-fold blessings back for the generosity and love you showed to others this Christmas!
