I am not the sentimental type. I don’t have to hang onto things. I can’t say that I would be devastated if my boys broke a certain item in my house.
(which is a very good thing since they frequently break things and I am positive it can only get worse from this point!)
If things change, I am pretty okay with it.
I think I can honestly say that I am unattached.

This brings me to my house. The house that God gave us for the past 3 years, was a little, just over 850 sq ft bungalow. It was crazy circumstances that brought us to that little yellow house. But it was obviously God who put us there and opened the door for us to reach out to our neighbors and show Jesus on our street in ways I could not have imagined. I love that little house, where we tripped and bumped into each other… But I am NOT attached.
When we moved into the house on Garfield Street three years ago. Our family was smaller and the neighborhood was safer. Since then, we added Dixie (our small-brained-loving-lab)
She was so little!!! (Not anymore!!!)
We also added to our family little Jimmy Wray!
(Look how proud Jayden was! Melt my heart!)
Needless to say, we could use a little more room! =)
We had been praying for God to open the door to once again allow us to move. It truly was another miracle to ask for.
(News Flash: one does not become monetarily rich when one decides to be in ministry. We become rich in other ways… Like blessings… Overwhelming and Abundant Blessings!!!)

Well… God has done it again! He has provided! He has blessed! And we moved into a new house!
(New to us, that is. The house was built in 1925! And located in a historic district of Detroit)
It’s bigger. SOOOOOOO much bigger!!!
Like 2000 square feet bigger!

Large bedrooms.
Did I mention that the kitchen is 3 times the size of the other house?!?!
And meeting our needs in every way!
I couldn’t put into words all the emotions that I have had since last fall when we really started praying about this move.
So, I’m going to just praise my AWESOME GOD who gives me Good Things!
My God who answers prayer.
And my God who will keep answering and providing and blessing!
ps. I promise to put up better pictures and more details in the future!
