I cannot tell you how happy I am that the snow is melting and the layers of cloths are beginning to be peeled off! It has been a cold winter and we had more “Cold” days then “Snow” days from school. (In Michigan if the wind chill is -20˚ F they close school. You could get frostbite in 5 minutes!!! Yikes!)
I have been really bad at posting pictures and other posts, but I promise I am going to catch up soon! Until then, enjoy a little “Snow” Day Recap.
We had approximately 13 inches of snow that morning.
It was the soft and fluffy kind of snow. Not good for building snowmen, but great for getting thrown into.
Jordan LOVED it!He is so crazy in the snow. And yes. There was snow down his pants and his shirt.
It was a bit cold out. Icicles were forming on Jon’s beard! Hahahaha!
Jon got out our sleds and set the boys up for some rides.
“I gonna throw a snowball at you!”
Got daddy in the butt! Look at that grin! He even threw one at Mommy! Punk!! How can you be mad at this face? Jimmy worked really hard to help build up the hill to sled down. The boys made a hill in the front yard.Jordan tested it out first.
Jimmy’s turn!
Fun right?
Oops!!! Face in the SNOW!!! Jayden flew down! He is fearless! Oh Jordan! One thing about those cold days outside…. Your nose won’t stop running!!! Need a tissue! Jon tried to convince Jimmy to get on the sled with Jayden and Jordan. But he knew better than to be the butt of the sled….Two are faster then one!
Jayden almost got me in the face with that snowball. My guys are pretty much awesome! In case you were wondering…. the girls were soundly sleeping during this snow adventure. And this mommy went back inside and had a nice hot cup of coffee!!!!
Happy Spring!
