When it comes to the Big Game in our house a party with great food is absolutely mandatory! All season long has been spent in anticipation of the final big game. There is NO WAY we are going to miss the chance to stuff ourselves with amazing food and get a little crazy cheering for our team.
My husband is a huge sports fan. I almost ruined my chances on our first date by announcing that I “Hated” watching sports. A girl who would watch sports with him was kinda at the top of his list for a girlfriend. Good thing he gave me a second chance and I learned to love watching sports with him and our four boys. (the twin 18 month old girls are even getting into the game and saying “Touchdown” overtime anyone cheers!)
When I plan for the Big Game party I always think of both the young and older fans in our house. I like to make sure everyone has something yummy to enjoy with the Game Day spread. I literally go to Meijer once a week for fresh food and groceries for our family. (With six growing kids we go through a LOT of food!) I stopped at the frozen isle and grabbed Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips and Tyson ® Any’tizers Boneless Chicken WINGZ buffalo style and immediately was inspired to make some amazing dips!
Pineapple BBQ Dip
Quick and delicious food is my plan of action for game day parties. I love Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips as a versatile choice in my freezer for a satisfying meal for my family. The crispy breading is perfect according to my 5 year old expert! I love that their are no added hormones or steroids in the chicken and it has 100% natural ingredients. There are so many great recipes to use this crispy chicken in. It is a freezer staple!
I decided to make a fun and kid friendly dip for our party and the younger fans in the house. It comes together super fast and is addicting! You most likely have the majority of these ingredients in your pantry and fridge.
RECIPE:
8 oz. can Crushed Pineapple
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
pinch of Red Pepper Flakes (you can add more if you want to kick up the heat)
1 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup Ketchup
1/4 tsp Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp Water
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
Whisk together water and cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir together cornstarch mixture and remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer on low for 10-15 minutes or until thickened. Refrigerate sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving with Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips.
Whipped Blue Cheese Dip
My husband and I are huge fans of wings! I am particularly fond of boneless wings and recently have convinced my husband to enjoy boneless wings with me! While I convinced him to fall in love with boneless wings he convinced me to try blue cheese dressing. I LOVE it! When I saw the Tyson® Any’tizers Boneless Chicken WINGZ Buffalo Style it was no question as to what dip I was going to be making for the more “Mature” fans at the Big Game Party! I love Any’tizers Boneless Chicken WINGZ because they are made with all white meat and packed with protein. I keep several flavors on hand to pull out for snacktime for the kids. I would rather my kids snack on protein than empty carbs and sugary snacks.
This Whipped Blue Cheese Dip is not like a normal blue cheese dressing you normally get with your wings. This dip is light and fluffy and oh. so. amazing! We could NOT stop eating it! Keep this dip recipe on hand for anytime you decide buffalo wings are on the menu!
RECIPE:
1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
6 oz. Blue Cheese Crumbles
4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
2 Tbsp Sour Cream
1/4 tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Chives, finely chopped
In a mixing bowl cream together blue cheese crumbles and cream cheese. Using either a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip in sour cream and salt. Slowly pour in whipping cream. Whip on medium-high speed until mixture is light and fluffy. Fold in chives.
Warning: these dips are ADDICTING!!!! We all have decided that these dips will be a tradition for all of our Big Game parties. I love discovering new family favorites that come together quickly with the help of great Tyson® products.

I love me some spinach dip. With wings though I am all about my ranch.
I am not a wing lover – actually I don’t eat them at all. But the rest of my family loves them. And if my husband isn’t making his own – we purchase Tyson.
We are big on snacks on game day, too! Anytizers are awesome 🙂
The Pineapple BBQ dip looks amazing.
Guess who is making that dip? This girl. I cannot wait to try it.
You are going to love them! 🙂
Those all sound like awesome party foods. I love the sound of the pineapple dip….happy party!!
I love ranch dip with my wings 🙂 I would love to try the pineapple dip…looks delicious.
I know for sure that the pineapple BBQ dip would be a hit in my home on game day. Tyson crispy chicken strips would make a great appetizer for adults and children.
That pineapple BBQ dip looks super tasty! I need to make this for our party!
Both dips sound delicious! I could easily eat that pineapple dip all by myself.
This post made me so hungry! I want some wings…. those dips look great!
Both of these dips sound very tasty. I may have to add this to my game day menu.
Pre-made wings with fresh sauces are an excellent party time treat. This is a good idea all year long.
I agree. This would be good any time of year. Happy end of the football season!
Both of these would be perfect for all the Super Bowl parties coming up! Love the idea of doing a whipped blue cheese dip. I’ll have to try that for sure!
Tyson has such great appetizers. I love their anytizers and chicken strips. I would love that pineapple bbq dip – going to have to try it!
