There is nothing more heartbreaking for a mother than when her baby is not having a good day. How do you keep toddlers entertained and resting while they’re getting back their to happy and crazy little selves?
My twin girls had an upset & gassy tummy a few weeks ago. And I knew they needed to rest until they felt better. But they were bored and quickly getting into trouble. Not to mention they kept pointing at their tummies and telling me they hurt. A quick trip to Walmart to grab some supplies and my favorite Little Remedies® products and we were on our way to a restful Baby. Little Remedies® Gas Drops 1 oz. are also on rollback at Walmart for only $7.17!
I have been using Little Remedies® products since Jayden was a baby. Our pediatrician recommended Little Remedies® Gas Relief Drops for my babies as it is safe for newborns, works in minutes and relieves excess gas.
While I was in the baby section, I also picked up Little Remedies® Honey Cough Syrup since the 4oz was on Rollback for $5.97! I like to have it on hand for those pesky little coughs that come when the weather changes. It only has 3 ingredients, is 100% natural, and soothes coughs day or night.
The girls were so happy with their “Cough” Basket! They quickly settled down after I gave them Little Remedies® Gas Relief Drops and were ready to rest with some quiet activities. I set them up on the couch with some quiet music playing.
Here is what was in our Baby “Cough” Basket:
- Pipe Cleaners & round cereal to thread on the pipe cleaner
- A felt board with cut out felt shapes
- Notebook for coloring
- Stickers
- Crayons
- A blanket
- Stuffed Animal
- Little Remedies® Honey Cough Syrup
These girls were so sweet together. They loved putting the felt shapes on the balloon shaped felt board. The blanket and stuffed animal never left their side.
Threading cereal on pipe cleaners was their favorite activity in the basket. I am pretty sure it was because they could eat as many as they threaded on the pipe cleaner.
I love seeing my children back to their usual happy selves. It makes a mamma’s heart feel so good when her babies feel good! I love having a product like Little Remedies® Gas Relief Drops that I can trust on hand to help my girls when their tummies are gassy.
We are prepared for the next time a little tummy is feeling yucky or a cough needs soothing! And with our little Baby “Cough” basket we can get what we need to feel well.
Stock your cabinet with Little Remedies® next time you are Walmart!
Happy Babies = Happy Day!

What a great idea for taking care of our “babies” when they’re not feeling well. Your daughter’s smile while threading those Cheerios is priceless. I’ve made similar a cold care college care package for my “babies” who are now in college.

I like this idea. A little comfort basket. I used little remedies when the kids were small too 🙂

This is such a sweet idea! I know I always feel helpless when I know a friend or family member has a sick child. Something like this would brighten everyone day!

How cute. I am liking this idea for little ones. It makes being sick a wee bit easier.

Oh aren’t those two adorable!!
I know for myself I feel better quicker when I can think about something else rather than being sick. Such a cute idea!

I love these ideas! I have 5 littles that get sick from time to time and having a kit ready to go might really help. I need pipe cleaners and new stickers for sure! I wonder what all would work with my 18 month old. Mostly she just wants to cuddle when sick. Maybe some bath toys for when trying to clear up stuffy noses with the hot shower steaming the room up!

What a great idea. I bet this would be so appreciated – by both the sick child and their parents!

Such a great idea and with the way weather is right now, this would be really nice to have at home.
