10 Minute Christmas Shopping At DICKS

With being a new business owner and working full time, I am more crunched on time this year then I have ever been before! This month is just FLYING by! I can hardly believe how close we are to Christmas. I have been looking at my schedule and wondering just how I am going to squeeze everything in. 

Christmas shopping for my family is obviously a priority, but I just don’t have the luxury of spending a whole day shopping and browsing isles for hours. I need to be able to get in and get out with the perfect gifts! 

I realized that strategically planning my drive home from work I could make a stop at DICKS Sporting Goods and mark two gifts off my list in minutes! This Thanksgiving, my sister and her husband introduced us to Yeti tumblers. My husband absolutely went crazy over them! He always has a cup of water with him wherever he goes. He hates that his ice melts within the first hour even in an insulated cup. I know he will love having his ice still frozen in his cup long after he finishes his drink! This is the perfect gift for him! 

My next mission was to purchase a new football for the boys. We love tossing a football around in the backyard with the whole family. It can sometimes be quite hilarious! I found this football that lights up, and immediately snatched it up! With time change, it gets dark so early, this football is going to make playing outside so much fun on our not-so-cold winter evenings here in Texas.

While walking the store I couldn’t help but notice all the displays of green shoelaces. I stopped to learn a bit more and was thrilled by this amazing campaign going on at DICK’S this season. 

This Holiday season, DICK’S is launching its Green Shoelace movement. Customers can purchase a pair of custom, green Sports Matter shoelaces to show their support of youth sports. Two dollars from every purchase will be donated to The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation and benefit youth teams in need across the country. DICK’S believes that sports make people better. As part of the DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation Sports Matter initiative, which helps youth athletic programs across the country receive vital funds to keep their sports programs intact, DICK’S and The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation are once again helping to support youth athletic teams this holiday season. 

I am a huge believer in kids sports! We are super excited about getting our boys involved in sports again in 2017! I know how much playing on a baseball team has helped the two oldest. It will be so much fun watching the little boys join a team this year.
