This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Weave Made Media® and Hyperbiotics, but all my opinions are my own. #weavemade #HealthiestDaysAhead http://my-disclosur.es/RgFrEH.
With six children and a husband to keep healthy and happy, I need all the help I can get! With a few simple steps and the help of Hyperbiotics I keep my whole family smiling and feeling great!
When you have a large family, you often need to think ahead to the problems that may potentially arrive. I am always working to simplify my routines and find easy ways to prevent chaos, sickness, or grumpy children from ruling my home!
As a Mom, it is always my goal to keep everyone in the family healthy and happy.
Here are simple steps I use to keep my kids happy and feeling great.
Plenty of Sunshine
The most natural form of vitamin D is sunshine! When my children are outside they are able to get out energy, explore their world, breath in fresh air, soak in sunshine, and experience a freedom that can’t be reproduced indoors.
We spend as much time as possible outside. You can ride bikes, take a walk, play at a park, toss a football, draw with sidewalk chalk… The list is endless!
Consistent Bedtime
I have found that children thrive in routines. A consistent bedtime is essential for us right now. We have lots of little ones in our home, and they need LOTS of sleep!
We keep bedtime as close to 8 pm every night. Even on the weekends we keep our routine. It’s amazing how much better children function when they get a full nights sleep.
Lots of Fruits and Veggies
We always offer fruits and veggies first for snacks to our children. They love fruit and veggies! They gobble up the fruit so fast in my house.
My newest trick to get lots of good veggies in their bellies is my Kid Approved Avocado Hummus Dip. It’s easy to make and good for them too!
KID APPROVED AVOCADO HUMMUS DIP
- 2 ripe Avocados
- 1 can Garbanzo Beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tsp diced Garlic
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 2-5 tbsp of Water
- Veggies for dipping (baby carrots, sliced cucumber, bell pepper slices, broccoli florets, etc…)
- In a food processor or blender pulse avocados, beans, garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice.
- Add water a tablespoon at a time until well blended. You do not need to use all of the water.
- Add Salt & Pepper and pulse.
- Serve with fresh cut veggies.
Keep Tummies Happy with Hyperbiotics
Happy tummies are important in our home! We protect and nurture our gut with Hyperbiotics.
A daily probiotic helps add back what our bodies need and puts the whole family on the path to more energy, better digestive health, improved immunity and more.
I have experienced several of my children having tummy troubles in the past which is just no fun for both them and myself as a mom. We are serious about taking a great probiotic, like Pro-Kids Hyperbiotics, every day to keep our systems balanced and restore immunity so my kids can do what they love… PLAY!
Hyperbiotics is the worlds most effective probiotic supplements and is affordable on my budget.
Bonus: It is also found at my favorite store, TARGET!
The Pro-Kids Hyperbiotics are a small pearl tablet (smallest on the market) which are easy for my children to take and has a time release formula. Sugar free is a total PLUS!
Taking one of these little pills encourages better digestive health, improved immunity and improves energy and clarity too!
Giggles, Silly Jokes and Dance Parties
My favorite sound in the world is the laughter of my children. It is something so precious and wonderful when a child laughs.
My husband and I love being silly with our kids. Life can be busy and stressful, but we want our children to experience as much giggles, tickle fights, and free spirit dancing as possible.
Get the kids laughing by telling a silly joke, making funny faces or dancing until you fall over! I promise it does the soul good.
Add Water
I think the final step for happy and healthy kids is to just add water.
Water is a part of life. Our bodies are made up mostly of water.
Keep the kids drinking water all day!
Encourage them to jump in puddles, take long baths, have water fights in the back yard, go swimming, and dance in the rain…
Water makes my kids crazy happy and keeps them healthy too!
It is my deepest hope that my children have a childhood full of happiness and health. I love that these simple steps to keep your kids happy and feeling great are easy to make a part of our everyday routine.
