This post is hosted by Wet ‘n’ Wild SplashTown. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
We celebrated summer with a day at Wet ‘n’ Wild SplashTown Adventure! All six of my children had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire day!
I am not sure if there is any better way to celebrate Summer than with water!
A day of sunshine and splashing in the water is just about the best way to spend a day with my children.
The kids have been asking to visit Wet ‘n’ Wild SplashTown since we moved here last year. We knew we had to plan a day to explore SplashTown and find out if the rumors about how amazing it was were true!
Let’s just say that our day did NOT disappoint!
With my children’s ages ranging 9-3, I am always concerned that there will be enough of a balance of age appropriate activities and rides when we go to new places. I don’t want my youngest to have nothing to do, and I hate when my older children don’t feel like they can participate in activities more their age level.
SplashTown more than delivered with rides and attractions for all of my children’s ages!
The Wet ‘n’ Wild JR. area was amazing! We headed to the junior area first.
There were several mushroom waterfalls, a playground climbing structure, and 6 different slides that the 3 year olds on up could go on!
I wasn’t sure how the girls would do with the slides… but, I should have known that they would go crazy for them and as soon as they came down… They would jump up with the biggest smiles on their faces and take off running to do them again!
The girls wore me out keeping up with them going down the slides over and over again.
Jon took the older boys on almost every other slide in the park while I watched the little ones in the Junior area.
Jayden and Jimmy both know how to swim, so they were tall enough and strong enough swimmers to be able to try the big slides.
Jayden’s stomach was in knots after doing the new Alien Chaser! He loved it! It’s a six story tall two person winding drop and dive tube slide. It’s purple and black slides can be seen from the road when you drive by.
Jimmy and Jayden both can’t stop talking about which of the slides were their favorite.
I love watching them work up the courage to try new things. Jimmy has really worked hard at learning to swim. He was very proud of himself after going on all the rides and keeping up with Jayden and Daddy.
We all went on the Paradise River together and the Wild Wave Pool.
The Wild Wave Pool was so much fun. The kids did not want to leave when the waves stopped.
There are so many rides to list, I can’t fit them all in this post! There were so many options for the entire family.
There are plenty of concession options in the park. We opted for a cool treat for the kids and got this awesome Alien frozen slushy! Pretty sure I would do anything for that happy smile!
Our adventure at Wet ‘n’ Wild SplashTown was epic! The kids are already asking when we are planning our next trip!
You can also get season passes for the entire year, and I am sure that those passes will be in our near future.
If you live in the Houston area or are visiting, you need to plan a day at Wet ‘n’ Wild SplashTown! We loved making epic memories together as a family!
Happy Summer Fun!

This looks like such a great time. I haven’t been to Wet N Wild. It’s so hot outside. I wish I was there right now.

Ooooh…. such fun, especially on a hot day. Hey, we live in the beautiful desert, so anything wet and wild, even in pictures, feels like it is cooling the day off a bit 🙂
