New York is one of the rear facing until 2 states. I feel bad for my giant monster baby but she’s only got a few more months before I can turn her around

Car seat safety is something I am super strict about. Ask my husband. Lol he wishes I had given up and gone to boosters a long time ago.

Installing car seats correctly is so important. I have always had ours checked with all the kids multiple times by certified techs. Sadly I have discovered that sometimes even the nurses from the hospital upon discharge don’t always know even how to buckle them in correctly.

My top tip for choosing a car seat would be to NEVER buy second hand. You never know if the person selling has been in an accident, and if they have, the car seat won’t work to protect little ones as it should do in the event of another one 🙁
