Print off these free printable learning placemats and make snack time with Goldfish Crackers fun and full of learning!
My youngest four are so adorable right now! They are learning so much in Kindergarten and Preschool. Watching their little minds discover new things is so much fun!
While they don’t really have homework yet, I am trying to find fun little ways to stimulate more learning at home. I don’t want it to be too intense and feel like work, so I am always on the hunt for entertaining ways to incorporate learning activities in our every day routine.
Snack time placemats are such a sneaky and fun way to encourage their little brains to keep learning even when school is out for the day!
There is true value in a placemat in our home…
When you have six children, you need to define “Their Personal” space. Otherwise, you will be refereeing every second of who is in who’s bubble!
My mom sanity level cannot handle arguing over where the imaginary line is for ones space… So placemats are essential to clear definitions of personal space!
Goldfish Crackers are one of our favorite after school snacks. They are made with 100% real cheese, baked, and the colors our sourced from plants!
We had a great after school conversation about how Goldfish crackers get their colors.
Green – from watermelon & Huito juice mixed with Turmeric
Red – from beet juice concentrate & paprika
Yellow – from extracted turmeric
Blue – Huito & watermelon juice concentrates.
Goldfish is holding a special vote right now for all of us Goldfish crackers fans! You can vote for your favorite Goldfish cracker color and they will make a special edition of Goldfish crackers of just one color!
I let each of my kids choose their favorite color and vote!
Each of the Printable Placemats focus on color sorting as well as another simple skill. Shape recognition, following direction patterns, and counting.
After completing their placemat activity the kids gobbled up their Goldfish crackers and asked if they could play another one tomorrow! The placemats are a total success!

Wow! Look at all those colors! I’m impressed that the colors are sourced from plants unlike many snacks. Thanks for the worksheets. Gonna print them off for my little niece.

I wish we could get goldfish here in the UK as Oscar would love them! I might print off a placemat anyway so I can use it with some other fun snacks 🙂

My little one is learning her letters and numbers. Only trouble is she calls numbers “letters” and letters “numbers.” Your cute placemats will make learning fun…and yummy!
