It is a very rare thing for Jon and I to get out away from the kids. Finding a babysitter that can handle all six of my crazies is sometimes a challenge!
This past year has been quite crazy and we knew we really needed to make time together happen away from the kids. Even if it is just for 24 hours, time alone together is worth every minute in gold!
Jon got us tickets to see the Astros vs. Tigers Baseball game and I got us room at Hotel Alessandra. I had heard about Hotel Alessandra from a friend. It is such a gorgeous boutique hotel. Located in downtown Houston and within a few blocks from Minute Maid Park.
Hotel Alessandra is stunning. It is classic sophistication with modern luxury. I love the wall behind the front desk and stunning staircase.
Jon just about died laughing at my squeal when we walked into the room and saw the bathroom. I am not sure if I was more excited about the gorgeous soaking tub or the fact that the bathroom was immaculately spotless! Jon was just happy that the shower was tall enough for him.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar lounge on site. Lucienne is a beautiful experience with Mediterranean cuisine and Bardot Bar & Lounge offers a beautiful place to relax late at night with full bar and light bites to order from.
We explored the hotel when we first arrived and found a luxurious spa, fitness room, and a pool that just oozed relaxation vibes. Jon, of course, was in his element in the fitness room.
The hotel has a complimentary car service in which a driver will take you anywhere downtown within a 10 minute radius. Their car is a gorgeous Maserati and we arrived in style at the baseball game!
Our night ended with fireworks at the baseball game and the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. It was such a relaxing get away. We have been talking about planning our next getaway at Hotel Alessandra as soon as possible.
There is nothing more wonderful than waking up with Nespresso in your room and a gorgeous view after a relaxing night away.
Planning little getaways as a couple is vital. I totally recommend Hotel Alessandra if you are in the Houston area.
Happy Getaway,
Keikilani

Hotel Allesandra looks amazing! I love the decor and the overall vibe of the entire hotel. And, I mean, come on. They have built-in lunge chairs in the pool. Swanky.
