The afternoons are the hardest for me. The coffee has worn off, I’ve eaten lunch, I most likely have been sitting most of the day at my computer working on on tasks and marking off my list. And at this point of the day… My brain fog really kicks in! And I can’t seem to crank out any work!

I have been trying a few recommended tricks to get my brain back in focus and thinking clearly so I can accomplish that never ending To-Do list!
Here are some ways I boost my afternoon Vibe:
Get OUTSIDE!
I really believe that this generation of humans has forgotten the power of the sun and fresh air. I forget so often that there is a whole source of energy right outside the door that I can tap into.
I have been trying to take 10-15 minutes to go outside and take a quick walk. If I am at home with my girls I will go outside and push them on the swings in the backyard or kick a ball with them. They don’t have to be asked twice if they want to go outside. They love it!
The fresh air and sun really boost my vibe and give me a nice pick-me-up.
BONUS: I get to spend a little extra time with just my girls and they get a little more worn out for an easier nap time!
Do 5 minutes of Yoga Stretches
I’m not always able to get outside for fresh air and to play with my girls. If there is bad weather, I will stand up and do 5 minutes of yoga stretches. Obviously, I don’t usually have my yoga mat out for this. It’s not about doing the poses perfectly, but about stretching your body and doing lots of deep, intentional breathing.
Chew a Piece of Trident VIBES Gum
