Warm weather is almost upon us! And that means I am switching from drinking hot tea to warm me up on a cozy evening to a cold tea that is invigorating and refreshing! While traditional sweet tea is a classic, why not try something new and yummy, like this Sparkling Ginger Berry Tea?
Celestial Seasonings Tea is one of my favorite teas. I pick up a box from Walmart at least once a month. Unlike plain, “normal” teas, Celestial is a more flavorful tea that is paced with flavor. It is zero calorie, zero sugar tea, that tastes great both hot and iced!
I love teas from both their herbal line and zinger line. The Sparkling Ginger Berry Tea is from their Zinger line and I will warn you… it’s addictingly delicious!
Not only did I love the sparkling ginger berry tea, but the kids did too. And while the name is long, it could not be easier to make!
This recipe is for a big batch, but you could also make it for individual servings. I am planning on serving this refreshing, fun iced tea at every BBQ we host this summer.
Sparkling Ginger Berry Tea
Ingredients
- 6 tea bags Celestial Zinger Berry Tea
- 1/2 cup Sugar or Honey
- 1/2 liter Ginger Ale
- 2 quarts cold water
Instructions
- Steep tea bags in 5 cups boiling water for 15 minutes.
- Pour hot tea into gallon size pitcher and dissolve sugar or honey in tea.
- Add ginger ale and top off pitcher with remaining water.
- Serve cold with frozen berries & mint for garnish.
You can easily double this recipe to make for a big crowd or party. Frozen berries and mint are really great ways to dress up the tea and keep it cold.

That tea looks really good. Normally I’m a chamomile tea drinker, but this sure looks delicious. It’s the same brand I pick up too. I’ll have to pick some up just so I can give it a try.
