Well, Happy last Thursday of August!!! Wait… What??? How are we beginning September already??? It’s pretty much going to be a sprint from now until Christmas! Fingers crossed that the weekly schedule I created last week continues to help me stay on top of everything on my list. So far… I am happy to say that it is working and I am excited to see the results of finally being organized.
Jimmy Wray (number 2 on the 6,000 kid list) turned NINE this week! I will be honest and tell you it’s a little unbelievable that my tiny 32 week, 4 lb 14 oz. baby is 9 years old! He is a spunky kid who loves learning interesting facts from YouTube and Google. He is extremely passionate about life and is a great student at school. He loved the week of summer camp he spent at YMCA Camp Cullen and can’t wait to go back again next summer. I’m pretty proud of J 2.0!
This week I am loving the new Dry Shampoo I just picked up! It’s EXTRA strength and I need all the strengths to survive the high humidity and heat we are experiencing the last few weeks of August. It’s been so muggy and hot.

I literally feel like I am melting whenever I walk outside. I know it sounds silly, but I just want to go back to 80˚ again! Hahaha! I am so climatized to Texas. The kids are ready to be able to play outside in the backyard and I am dying to start another Pallet Project.
During Amazon Prime Day, waaaaayyyyyy back in July, I picked up this Cordless Vacuum Sweeper and have fallen IN LOVE with it! With two dogs that shed hair and 6,000 kids, I don’t know why I didn’t order this sooner? I was worried it wouldn’t be strong enough to keep up with my flooring needs, but so far it has proved to be a valuable asset to our family. The kids even like using it which makes it a SUPER WIN for me!
Going back to my hair and being hot…. I can barely make it an hour before pulling my hair up into a high bun and getting my thick hair off my sweaty neck. I finally tried the spiral hair ties that everyone has been raving about and I was very pleasantly surprised how well they hold my thick hair. You know a mom randomly used one of these in desperation to discover how awesome they are at tie up your hair! I was worried the spirals would catch my hair and get easily knotted together, but so far, they have been awesome. I especially like using them when we go to the pool.
I think that is all I needed to say for this ALL. THE. THINGS. Thursday. Thank you for stopping by and hopefully this helps you get to know me a little better. I would love for you to comment below and tell me what you are loving this week! I am always looking for new things to make my mom life better and easier!
Happy Thursday!
