Game day food is very important in our home. Is it really a big game day without a spread of delicious food to sustain the cheering fans? I have rounded up our very favorite and best Game Day Recipes for you.
Let’s face it, the best Game Day Recipes are the real stars of Game Day!
Let’s start with the Queso
This Venison Queso Dip is at the top of the list because it’s the most requested by my husband. We are all obsessed with Queso in our home, but this is next level Queso and worth of winning the VIP award for showing up for Game Day for sure!
Tacos for Days
If you are going to have a crowd coming to your home to watch the game, I highly recommend Tacos. Create a taco bar spread and let your raving fans graze all day and make a taco every time a commercial comes on or when they need consolation because their team lost the ball.
Let’s start with these Pork Carnitas. Make the pork in the crockpot the day before and keep it on warm for the entire game.
If you like tacos with a twist, then Korean BBQ Street Tacos or Hawaiian BBQ Street Tacos would be perfect for your game day table. Both of these tacos have recipes for a slaw to top the taco and I promise your guests will be impressed with the flavors and memorable food you served.
Maybe you are craving a Melty Sandwich?
This extremely popular Philly Cheesesteak Melt has been pinned hundreds of times and has raving fans of its own! I will warn you that you may need to plan on making two per fan to keep everyone happy and no one feeling hangry.
Load up the fries and the tots!
Loaded Honey Mustard Tot-chos and Loaded Philly Cheese Steak Fries both are winners on Game Days. I highly recommend you make them in a cast iron skillet to keep everything to one pan and piping hot while you serve your loaded fries and tots.
If you prefer food by toothpick…
If you would like all of your food to be finger or toothpick food, then add these meaty bites to your menu. Saucy Little Sausage Smokies and BBQ Venison Meatballs are both reader favorites and also a big hit with the kids. Again, keep these warm with your crockpot on the table for the entire game.
Don’t Forget Dessert!
The kids loved helping me make these Football Cake Balls. They didn’t care how they looked, they were so proud of them and loved eating them. My go-to dessert for a crowd are my gooey Chocolate Chip Blondies. Toss them in the oven during half time and make the entire house smell fantastic.
Now you are Game Day ready!
Your fans will not be hungry or “Hangry” and hopefully your favorite team will take the W and be the icing on the cake!
