My favorite cards from my kids through the years are always the questionnaires that they can fill in the blank with their own words. A simple prompt for their little brains and write down the first thing they say. 

One of the first Mother’s Day Printable Questionnaires I received from my oldest two asked the question: “what does your mom smell like?” 

I about died when I saw my son’s answer: Cinnamon.

That little questionnaire was given to me over 8 years ago and I still think of it. It is a special memory of me reading the answers out-loud to my son and both of us giggling. 

When the kids were little their teachers or my husband would write in the answers for them. And now that they are older they are writing their own answers down. And that is just as fun and special. 

To be honest, I don’t really expect much for Mother’s Day. I don’t need any fancy gifts. I prefer a day of simplicity and homemade cards and printable questionnaire like this one!

My favorite Mother’s Day was one spent at the pool, homemade cards from the kids, with a homemade brunch from my husband, and a dinner of steak & lobster tail on the grill at home with a nice bottle of wine. No work. No stress. No battling chaos at a Mother’s Day buffet. 

To all the mamma’s out there… HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! I hope that you feel extra special on Mother’s Day even though we technically do not get the day off. 

You are amazing and a really freaking, awesome mom!
